i once surfed alone in a place where theres no one and no surf community. that was december last year. waves were good and there was a bit of fear in the beginning. at the end of the day i enjoyed the surf more than ive ever enjoyed surfing other spots. no one aside from me was going for the sets, i got all the good waves i couldve gotten. no complains from this end. a friend or two wouldnt make a diff, as long as i get good waves. wink

www.oceanweather.com

these 2 are the only ones youll need to know where to get good surf around here.

remember the waves by the shore would be smaller than what the forecasts show. better get a map of the place youre going to if you havent been there before, some areas are positioned in such ways that even when there are supposed to be waves online there would be none by the beach. 90 percent of the time theyre quite reliable. good luck  cool

just because one white boy screws around doesnt mean they all do. stereotyping may help but in most cases in distorts your personal judgement.  its the same all over the world, youve got pinoy assh@les on one hand, and youve got foreign assh@les on the other hand, its one world were living, same bananas everywhere.

my take on this is verify all the facts, try to get to the authorities, if they cant take action, we can always arrange something to achieve the same effect. yeah youre right mark money talks here but who cares, frankly, i dont, especially if it involves not so nice person foreigners acting like they own the country, putang ina for lack of a better word. damn just because they can buy a piece of land doesnt mean theyre damn f**cking lords here.

if whatever was written here was true than maybe its just justified for people to get back to that white boy, just because he can afford to build a damn house in la union doesnt mean he can f**ck around as he wish. if whatever was written is true i say that pooface deserves some sort of payback. and i know some people from surfcamp checks this forum regularly, so if you surfcamp people do see this tell that guy about it. if its true, tell him to f**ck off! one day he will regret what he did.

mark if we meet the beers going to be on me.

mr. gjs, if you are going to file a legal case against me, send me a private message or email, im tired of arguing in the forum about this. ill not let anyone force me to travel to san juan because of expressing my opinion on certain allegations. file a case in any manila trial court if you want.

and todd, ill have my biases on anything that forum members post, perhaps mr. gjs would like to assume the administrator position.

wax doesnt give much of a difference aside from keeping your feet on the stick. why should it be of significant cost to the average filipino surfer? maybe it sould be priced around 20 or 30 pesos? who knows.

Hope everyone is enjoying the break!

Weather looks good for those who surf eastern Philippines!  Perhaps there's going to be a break from all this summer heat if that 'bright glowing thing' crosses over the islands.

Happy Easter!  cool
