If you're in San Juan, La Union, try visiting German Sunset Beach Resort and ask for Leo, a local surfer working at the resort and buy their Palmer's wax. It's the plain smelling brand but hey, it works. The last time I checked, one piece costs P70

Melt your wax down and add about a 1/4 weight of normal candle wax and it will make your block last longer without really affecting it. Try it on a small amount and see what you think

wax doesnt give much of a difference aside from keeping your feet on the stick. why should it be of significant cost to the average filipino surfer? maybe it sould be priced around 20 or 30 pesos? who knows.
