umbrella, i dont think you can buy locally made bags anymore.

i tried fluid but it appears that they discontinued their boardbags.

surfworld referred me to some guy who makes surfing hardware but no response yet.

one tip, visualization works. im not sure about this but ive been watching a couple videos and noticed that doing this can also help improve your skills. just make sure its surfing videos that youre watching smiley

but of course watching videos alone wouldnt suffice, youll have to pay your dues bro but the rewards good, so good that surfingll change your life in more ways than youd think it can wink

we found waves alright! but conditions suck! it was windy, raining, the water was all brown from the downpour, the waves were crappy! but we spotted some promising spots already, and guess what its barely 3 hours from metro manila!!!! yahoo!!!!!!!

you would need a good vehicle to look for some of the spots though, road conditions are quite scary when the weathers bad, our pickup fell into a small pit of rainwater and it took a lot of efforts to pulled it up, damn it was an adventure that im not looking forward to experiencing again soon hehehe wink

seriously, thanks for the advice, went to the doc already and been doing some extra stretchings daily  angry stupid of me to think that it wasnt necessary hehehe hope the pain will go away soon,  not sure about yoga though, tried it before but aside from those great chicks stretching their physiques around me id rather go surfing  grin

went to quezon again last weekend but conditions remained crappy, d@amn, where the heck are the good spots in quezonhuh is it just the timing? is polillo the only area there with good breaks? we surfed a rivermouth in real but the waves were just too crappy, the fact that its difficult to paddle out in shallow water with cobblestone bottom further pissed us off, thankfully the sun was shining and after a couple of crappy rides we decided to just grab some cheap fresh seafood to keep ourselves happy smiley

thinking of giving up the quezon project  undecided

we used to camp out by the beach back when we were still in school.  the only problem was daily hygiene, can you be comfortable with it hehehe but if you know some people staying at the resorts that kinda settle the problem doesnt it? smiley

you can consider it a good time to visit the phils, chances of getting good waves in zambales during those months are high. get in touch with one of the posters here, ZambalesSurfingAssoc, hes a local and can be of much help to you.  anyway, you still have lotsa time to iron things out.  wink
