I'm from quezon city. i've always been fascinated with the idea of surfing ever since i was a kid. i'm into almost any kind of water sport. never realized we had surfable waves here in the philippines until around 2000. finally got to surf with a friend from guam at LU last year...stoked!

i understand how you feel spook, no friends to go surfing with. the first time i tried surfing i went through all the numbers in my phonebook, well, the ones i thought would be game for this kinda stuff but i got to Z with no takers! that's what this forum is for. i've asked a lot of questions here and all were answered. you can even meet people who are into surfing already. no more convincing necessary!

i think luke calls everyone kuya... i think i have some digital pics with luke stored in my computer. bidding starts at P100. haha.   no naked pics tho.  

was just at LU this weekend. some of the locals there were saying luke might stay in australia for good. (don't know if that's true)

bad news for surf camp: thief struck again last weekend. broke into at least three rooms, took thousands in cash plus a phone... they really have to do something about this. padlocks won't work because they pass through the bathroom window. maybe it'll be safer to bury your money in the sand somewhere...hmmmm.  

i don't know. they didn't have suspects this time. no witnesses either. bad image for the resorts in LU tho. sad. really sad some of them were sleeping in their rooms when the burglar broke in! steathly little bastard!
