Hello! I'm new to this forum and to surfing. I hope I'm welcome here. I've tried to surf in LU a couple of times and got hooked on it. I'm a beginner, mostly just catching white water. However, none of my friends are even remotely interested. I'm just looking for people to talk surf with. Hope you guys can help me out, surfing included! Thanks!

Im new here too....Hope im welcome too...I havent surfed since 2001, and the last time i surfed was at the local breaks of Southern Cali.  Im here in the Phils for quite sometime and looking to start up again.  Can anyone give me adive as were to buy a board?  Where there are some good Reef and Beach Breaks...? Hope you guys can help

i understand how you feel spook, no friends to go surfing with. the first time i tried surfing i went through all the numbers in my phonebook, well, the ones i thought would be game for this kinda stuff but i got to Z with no takers! that's what this forum is for. i've asked a lot of questions here and all were answered. you can even meet people who are into surfing already. no more convincing necessary!

ey guys...welcome to spook and helpmesurf!!!!...its been a while since my last visit in this site....surfing is for everybody...for those who would want to have a goodtime...in the ocean...LA union, Zambales..these are just the breaks Ive been to...the locals are friendly...if you are a good one..and nice to everyone...you get along with the locals....just keep on surfin....anybody wants to go surfin this weekend in Zambales?

sup to everyone on here! i'm a newbie on this board too. i knew about Cloud 9, but i had no idea of all the spots in the PI! my friends and me were planning a trip to Boracai, but that whole 9/11 thing happened and nobody wanted to go anymore. but we're definitely planning another trip next year. any suggestions we're all experienced surfers, but my ears are open to the locals and to all of you.

Me too! Hi!  I'm very new to the sport and this forum as well. I took a couple of lesson while traveling and haven't stopped dreaming about surfing since then. None of my friends seem too keen to pick up the sport. Hence, now the extra bus ticket to daet.    Anyone interested? We leave thursday  (21 August) at 8:30 pm from Cubao (Philtranco Gold Service) and will get there just in time to see the sun rise over the water.  Thanks a mil! -Kathy
