Aloha, this is Kaena with the report for Thursday morning at 7 AM.  


SURF
3-4 ft. - waist to shoulder high with occasional 5 ft. and good conditions.

SLOWLY decreasing, WNW & NNW swells with small, fun size waves. Super clean conditions this morning, but expect some mushy waves later when the Sea Breeze kicks in.

WEATHER
Calm & near Glassy in the early morning. SE to Variable Wind of less than 15 mph today. Possible Afternoon Onshore Sea Breezes developing later. Mostly sunny morning, but some scattered afternoon clouds with a chance of showers. High Temps near 80.

there were waves alright, but it wasnt that good at monaliza point, some people checked bacnotan and it was so so. carille was okay, waisthigh sets hit carille saturday noon. it was better early sunday morning,with the rare chest to shoulder high sets.  waves dropped down late sunday morning and it wasnt that good anymore in carille. waves by the surf camp dropped too but theyre still choppy. well, enough to keep me happy for some time

..sunset beach is were the sunsets diba te hydro?!   i know a couple of them. i think almost all beaches of northern luzon are sunset beaches.
..the waves were super angry last Sunday morning in our place. i don't know in some areas.

ganda ng alon man! the beach break cleared up a bit, seemed as if tuesday morning would make it surfable. the point was really good though. in the morning, it was still pretty big, but the waves weren't choppy na so it was easy to get out. BIG waves (big for me!) but it was GOOD! it was really scary, and i had to psyche myself up, but i did it man! in the afternoon, the waters were calmer, the waves were still big, but not as strong and fast as in the morning.

wish i could go again this weekend, maybe to daet or something, but i'm just so darn broke....  


*sigh* surf...

does anyone know if there's still gonna be waves at LU this weekend? i checked that wave forecast thing and (actually figured it out!) it doesn't really look good. mayumi's words sparked some hope in me though. hehe...

i missed the warm water in PI. But, I had a great weekend....surf was chest to head high...new board.....but water was cold....mid 50's

ayyy..... it was a fantastic weekend, especially monday when EVERYBODY left! haha! yes! had the point to me self and two other guys. oh yeaaahhh.....

Mayumi.....how big were the waves? Set Wave height? glassy condition? Not closing out?

sunday morning was the best for me, a few overheads and lots of shoulder to head high sets coming in,although most of the bigger sets werent that good there were a couple of long clean ones too, best of all it was a sunshiny day, and no wind, the only problem there was quite a crowd at monaliza, but it didnt matter, had lots of fun even with the crowd.

i got there monday morning from baguio. the waves were smaller, still shoulder to head high, but very clean sets. there were a bunch of locals at the beach break, and one other guy at the point (jun had just come in) and mike went out with me. it was sweet, not too big at the point, real mellow, hardly wind, maybe a nice breeze being a beginner i just had to pick the smaller waves at the point, but it was cool coz no competition. nice long rides glassy, not crowded the waves died down around 2ish, getting smaller and smaller, so we just hung out at the kubo and stared at the sea...
