aww thanks man! its not that difficult to put art on your board.Phoenix tribal designs are HOT too!!

All you have to do is sand down your board with some medium coarse sandpaper,just so it roughens up the surface a bit so the paint adheres to the surface better.Then,prob the best way to put the design on is to draw the design up yourself and freestyle directly on the board or photocopy some designs and tweak them to your own style and then transfer them onto the board.You can do that by the old technique of like hmmm...rubbing lead pencil on one side of the design then rubbing the design onto the surface of the board so the lead leaves a faint outline for you to work with.Did that make sense??haha.Or you can make hand cut stencils which is probably the most easiest cos all you need is spray paint and stencil.Use Krylon spray paint or any other automotive paint/street graff sprays/acrylics.When its dry and youre happy with it,theres some spray on lacquer that you can buy at automotive places which will protect the design.It wont wont stay on as long as doing the design directly onto freshly shaped foam then being glassed,but it'll still look fab!

surfed there a couple of years ago,but only for a few hours.I think it was about 2ft,but still had some fun.Lots of longboarders out.I think its a good beachie for when everywhere else gets too big....

I havent been surfing for the past 3months ,still got another 3/4months to go...there hasnt been much surf anyways,so..it's all good .But summer's slowly creeping its way in and the waters warmer now,thank god!I heard theres been some really nice waves coming in on the eastern side of the phils.

it should be good around the start of October..end of Sep.Hopefully it'll turn-on for the comp at Siargao!Hey you're Sam right!!??the guy in Kathys piks with the dreads yeh??...ahhh!haha.Im a bit slow....

and yep,thats what wetsuits are for.Without them we wouldnt be able to surf for about 4 months of the year.Its not THAT cold here as apposed to a lot of other places in the world....but when you're surfing super warm water and then the temp decides to drop below 5degrees in the mornings,its a bit of a shock to the system.Plus I'm a priss when it comes to cold weather;)

The whole longboard/shortboard/bodyboard//and every other board type issue has been around for ages.And its always going to be around for as long as riding waves exists.People are still going to be strutting with their chosen type of board,wearing the cool clothes and talking the talk just to look cool and good on them if they want to look like fools,it doesnt matter.I know it can be irritating at times seeing the thing you love doing the most being glamourised by people who are only in it for whatever image reason.As long as youre out there having fun on whatever board you want to ride then thats all that matters yeh?

heya mark.nope,I havent seen the new tracks yet,Ill chk it out this morning tho!Theres also a little article in ASL this month abt the comp too.One of my friends is a professional surfer and he saw the C9 piks that Kage took and  also the article in Tracks and was blown away by it.Hes surfed it a few times,but never seen it that big.He said the same thing as you...that its not always like that and people might have this perception that its like that come season.

Im just going to get a one year ticket and visa and see where that takes me.It'd make things easier,but Im not sure if I can get a filipino passport?Mum was born there and she was still a citizen of the Philippines when she gave birth to me out here in australia.She became an australian citizen just after I was born.Im not sure how it all works?Your kids were born in the Philippines yeh?

Heya Mark,yeh Ill have to head to the consulate to get more info about it.Sometimes when Mum and I both go back to the Phils I get a Balikbayan thing which allows me to stay for a year without a visa,but shes not going to the Phils till late next year again.Its ok though,its not that much of a hassle,was just curious tho!I checked out that article about the Phils.The waves are crazy!Some of those waves are so square.The articles a little bit of a generalisation tho.
