Going away until around the end of June/start of July.Was going to stay longer,but I'm moving to the Gold Coast and got heaps of work to do..so..play time is restricted!
A friend in Davao said that the eastern sides picking up some good swell.The guys have already planned some bus/hitch surf search somewhere up north from davao...dont know anything about,but apparently I'm going!haha...cant wait!miss the phils so much ..and I wont panic...no more running onto "NO DESTINATION" jeepneys!hehe.

Anyways,hope you get some more waves.The "summer-like" weather in the past 2/3days has been strange!It was 30degrees here today!its supposed to be almost winter isnt it

I'm still kickin about in the Phils.Being a mallrat today..only to give email shouts outs to my friends back home.

crazy things always happen over here!!LOVE IT!!hehe.umm...had a 10 hour bus trip to this place to pick up a  board ...10 hours stuck in between two super drunk guys and i had a fever,flu and generally felt hellish.Some seedy military guys were passing moves onto me when we had a stopover in this mountain region.EWWW..got to destination.picked up board...10 hours back and got home and had to be hospitalised for a night.Ended up having a small dose of pnuemonia(spelling??).

went to the market with my mum on..FRIDAY!to buy some veges and fish and stuff...was coming back to my uncles house in a pedicab and there was a pregnant girl in there with us who went into labour.Mum and I took her to this old witch doctor ladies place,but she wasnt there(I'M STAYING IN THE THE MIDDLE OF A JUNGLE OK!!!),but the baby decided she didnt want to wait any longer...so..mum and i delivered a baby!!hahaha.We were only supposed to get fish and veges....hehe.

heading off to siargao tomorrow.but theres swell up north..so...see how it pans out....

anyways..thats my fast crapping on for now..no more net time!TAKE CARE EVERYONE!!

i just got back from siargao yesterday.long arsed bus trip back to davao.met up with allan on...saturday morning!for about 10minutes before i left for surigao!The swell unfortunately wasnt big.When we arrived it was maybe 1-2foot.i surfed cloud nine in the late arvos on low tide and it was about 2-3foot.early morning high tide it was good and jacked up a little,but it was kinda fat.even when its small its still punchy tho,so i guess thats a plus!snapped the tail of my board,which wasnt so fun.still had fun tho.some military guy fired some shots at about 3am one morning near c9 and everyone was freakin cos there were " rumours" about abu....but turns out that the military guy was drunk and he got ditched by some chick on the dancefloor..he got pissed and decided to let off some rounds,just to show his disgust in her leaving him and hurting his ego.hehehe.

some of the guys got a few small fun waves right here in davao yesterday!but judging by one of the guys stories the water was hella sketchy....dead dog and some other toxic floating pieces.haha.might check out some other places in the nxt coming couple of weeks......gotta check the charts and blah!

will be in manila on..wednesday!OH!I'm giving a board away.it's 6'ft..by..18..by sumtin.not too sure.I only used it in siargao.its 2nd hand but i wanna offload it before i leave back home.so if theres anybody out there who doesnt already have a board..you can have this one!it's a bit of a bitch to paddle,so if you're just starting out it might not be good cos its small and narrow and the nose has a super mean curve on it!maybe best for somebody with a little more experience or somebody whos superrrrrr light!you can contact me on  mob:09195150805 ..i'll be in manila for about a week or so and i'll have the board with me so..umm..YEH!!..just hit me back if any of u are keen!

was at LU for a couple of days,but i didnt go out.so i guess i robbed myself the waves were kinda fat i guess....still had fun tho!Met some of the guys from this very forum which was kinda...strange!the "names" have faces.

and yes!I'm having a blast...going back to oz in just over a week.Not at all looking forward to it.The Pinoy boys have been a blast!if they hassle me...i am capable of hassling back yeh

yep!we scored 3 days of solid waves.The winds were cyclonic for 2 days??whipped the seas into a frenzy...doing tow ins around Snapper and I think some around Currumbin.That sandbank that starts around D-Bah is STILL holding in there....The guy that pumped all the sand there is being hailed as GOD now..hahaha.I got this nasty looking sea ulcer from Siargao!not glamourous at all and its getting worse!I think my foot will have to be amputated!drama queen .Did anybody see the footage of the surf over in South Africa at the moment

I have about 100000 girl cousins between the ages of 12-16...so I was forced into watching it as soon as stepping foot in the Phils!Couldnt understand a word,but it's pretty much the same as every other soap..so over time its easy to find out the daily happenings...plus Jerry has fabulous hair....Sponj you cant deny that you are envious of his rooster haircut!c'mon!

yep...D-Bah and Snappers good for when the swell hits,handles it well.Kirra's beautiful when its the right size!and you're right...lots of people out.Apparently in May when some nice waves hit the Goldy,there were 90-100surfers out at Snapper in one morning...it didnt feel like that many,but shite...thats a fair few for one break

Like Mark said..the inconsistancy of the Philippines would probably work against this kind of operation.You can only look at the resorts that are scattered along the coastlines now.During the off season or even when theres a lull in the peak season these resorts are totally deserted....espesh if the ONLY thing that is attracting visitors IS the surf you'd hardly be making a killing...plus boats cost more to operate then resorts.If people are going to be forking out upwards of $80/$160 per day,they want to be able to get surf,their main intentions will be to go to an "exotic" destination and surf some quality reef breaks which are actually breaking bigger then 2foot.Theres only so much kayaking,snorkeling,fishing and watching surfing vids on tv you can do before you start craving for actual surf and rethinking your decision of throwing away your money and boarding the boat.....

Broulee you're a 54 year old man who's idea of "fun" is to go all the way to another country to watch a game of AFL that could be watched at home.If you're such a shithot surfer you'd be able to read weather maps and not spend months on end cruising one area looking for waves.I'm not even going to bother with you,but I'd really appreciate next time that you don't degrade me to make yourself feel superior to everyone else here.
