you do them just for fun and you do them real good.. what more if it's not just for fun? wink i'd really like to see now you do it.. i wanna customize my board to my own design... i'd like to design it with tribal stuffs... like those tribal tatts... specifically, the tribal phoenix design... hope i'd learn some from you..

cheers to your right brain! wink

aww thanks man! smileyits not that difficult to put art on your board.Phoenix tribal designs are HOT too!! tongue

All you have to do is sand down your board with some medium coarse sandpaper, just so it roughens up the surface a bit so the paint adheres to the surface better. Then, prob the best way to put the design on is to draw the design up yourself and freestyle directly on the board or photocopy some designs and tweak them to your own style and then transfer them onto the board. You can do that by the old technique of like hmmm...rubbing lead pencil on one side of the design then rubbing the design onto the surface of the board so the lead leaves a faint outline for you to work with.Did that make sense??haha.Or you can make hand cut stencils which is probably the most easiest cos all you need is spray paint and stencil.Use Krylon spray paint or any other automotive paint/street graff sprays/acrylics.When its dry and youre happy with it,theres some spray on lacquer that you can buy at automotive places which will protect the design. It wont wont stay on as long as doing the design directly onto freshly shaped foam then being glassed, but it'll still look fab! smiley

I hope this helps you out a little!!but for sure when Im back in town Id be up for helping you artsyfy your board smiley

haha...pity the left side of my brain is permanently dead embarassed

left brain dead?

heehee... you mean to say you're not the one writing all these forum stuffshuh err... where in the brain does our wrist control come fromhuh hehe..

i wonder how you'd look like when i see you assuming your left brain is dead... hehehe.. how'd you surf like thathuh

anyway, i just bought my board... i'm gonna have second thoughts if i were to sand it up just to place the design since it did cost me to buy it... maybe when it tasted its scratches or a lot of dings then i'll be able to give it a shot.

cheers!

the right side has learnt to adapt to the laziness of the left,so its doubled its workload..hehe winkcrazy

yeh, maybe it would be better if you waited till it was a little less precious!Once its all mangled up you can do whatever you please with it smiley

happy surfing anyways! grin

hello millz,

yeah... i surf in daet (bagasbas beach) and a few days ago they told me the waves are about 5ft high. last time i've been there is july.. will probably have a 1 week trip by the first week of october.

hmm... the waters really cold in your place.. that's the reason why surfers there wear wetsuits, right? to get themselves warm.

see you soon!  wink

Hi, I heard a buzz that todd stole surf.com.ph from Brian Landrigan, the owner of surf.ph and was wondering if you know if that is true?

it should be good around the start of October..end of Sep.Hopefully it'll turn-on for the comp at Siargao!Hey you're Sam right!!??the guy in Kathys piks with the dreads yeh??...ahhh!haha.Im a bit slow.... cheesy

and yep, thats what wetsuits are for.Without them we wouldnt be able to surf for about 4 months of the year. Its not THAT cold here as apposed to a lot of other places in the world....but when you're surfing super warm water and then the temp decides to drop below 5degrees in the mornings, its a bit of a shock to the system.Plus I'm a priss when it comes to cold weather;)

sundog shouldnt you ask the man himself??
