allan and some other friends were also in siargao during the "storm that kind of was but not" ... cloud 9 was huge daw... even crossing to get to dako/daku (depends who you talk to) was scary daw. and i heard part of the walkways to judge's tower was washed away.

And yeah... camp was broken into again last weekend. Something has to be done about the thefts cos they've been escalating lately. Hard to know if your stuff will be safe while you're in the line-up. Bjorn and I were kidding around that we may need to bring waterproof bags, put all our stuff in them and float them as buoys while we're in the water.

Now... Bjorn as the missing member of F4... hahaha... he is so going to kick Millie's ass in for that comment.

heyhey all!

just got back tuesday night from siargao. yep, kathy is correct: wednesday morning was triple overhead... 18 boards snapped at various breaks around the island, most of them at cloud 9. we're talking MONSTER swell. even Dako, which is supposed to be the mellowest wave there, was overhead and really pumping that day. we were calling it "big wednesday."

my photos are up on my gallery. check my sig line. they arent going to be as up close as the ones Kathy was able to take (does anyone want to give me a teleconverter? hehe). but there are some shots in there that im pretty stoked about.

oh and as for results:
