hi, sorry to jump in your converssation but i'm just wondering if anyone knows if the swells hit cloud9 or any spot in siargao around the month of may?  actually any spot in the p.i.  one more thing, how often does any of you get to surf cuz it sounds like none of you live close to breaks?  just wondering. i'm really looking forward to going there.  i just heard about cloud nine, my family's from mindanao and we're planning in going back next year.  any comments or reply is greatly appreciated.  thanks.

eh breddah, thanks alot for your input.  i'm actually not in mindanao rite now, i'm from san diego and i'm planning on going there next year around may.  i'm not sure if that's a good month to go.  it really doesn't matter with me how big the sets are as long as it's atleast chest high and the form is good.  the form actually looks like it'll holds up since it's a reef break.  i'm not sure if it gets mushy when it's small.  anyhow, i ride a 6'0 thruster.  i'm not sure if i need to bring a bigger one since it looks like its a real fast break.  i'm might need to get in the wave fast.  i guess i'll just have to find out.  alright, i'll hear from you later.  peace fish.

thanks for responding fellas.  that's a bummer that swells don't hit on may.  there will be some waves though rite?  i mean it doesn't have to be pumpin as long as it has good form.  that's the only month i can go.  i'm kinda stuck at work.  anyhow, i guess i'll just have to see.  peace fish

eh kurdec, what's up brah?  i don't really care so much about big waves. they're hella fun and all but it's all about the form and how crowded it is.  i'd rather surf a break that's about waist high with my buddies than surfing in 6' to double over head with bunch of kooks in the water.  you catch my drift breddah?  i can't wait to surf in the p.i. i think the whole experience alone is worth the trouble getting there.  wooo, i'm so stoke about the whole thing.  i'll hear from you later.  peace fish.

hey shokoi, thanks a whole heap for answering my questions....i'll definitely take your advise in consideration.  i'm under the impression that supply is kinda scarse.  i'm talking about wax, leashes and mainly boards.  i was talking to my chief about surf in the p.i. and i was telling him how great it supposed to be but the only thing is that they dont really have much over there.  so he came up with the idea for us to buy leashes and waxes and stuff and send it to the locals.  from the surfers from the mainland to the locals of p.i.  i like the idea too, but we don't know who our point of contact would be.  anyhow, thought i'd share that with you.
