you're right omi...... it's all just crap to start labeling or standardizing or bashing others out just coz they are not politically correct with things they say.

world class wave.... it's all bullshit if you have to keep instilling that this is a world class and this is not... you're not focusing on enjoying the ride anymore but on the technicality... i sometimes say epic in daet... i watched billabong odyssey and found a real epic wave...... but what if people hasnt defined these waves as "epic" or "world class" yet? what if we go back in time when all the people just enjoy the waves and not start labeling and comparing?

that's why right now the world is really full of shit and crap...... coz a lot of people want to box everybody else into a certain classification or another.

whatever dodo says, each reader can either believe or not believe or either get curious and go there or just dont mind and dont read at all. there are even those who dont read the forum at all so what's the big deal?

not to disrespect you, cane_toad, but if you really think dodo's words are all bullshit, then why go on and read it and post replies? why do you even need to spend longer time to research on the meaning of his name? do you know the meaning of toad? or cane? and why do you need to go find some "authoritative" definition? cant you make your own? after all, surfing isnt surfing yet when it started. the english dictionary just made it "surfing".....

you know what would make things more interesting? if we start redefining the world. cheers "dude"!

help anyone?im just new here, i joined coz i wanna learn how to surf and wanna ask some questions regarding surfing spots in the philippines preferabley in zambales or la union..i know quite a number of people here are already experienced with the surfing escapades within zambales...just like to ask about resorts,surf borad rentals, rooms, etc... thanks and more power    

ey there silent killer...there are two great surf spots in zambales that i know, 1 is on crystal beach, you can rent some boards there and the other is what they call magsaysay break, its about 3 1/2 hrs trip if you have your own transpo, if you're going to take the bus its about 4-41/2 hrs i think...when are you planning to go there?

They are just bunch of beach rats!ask Okoy,Biong,Badboy and Dyango,they are the locals who are ripping that waves during that session. RTT and Olin are both documenting that epic time in their cameras.
Theres no such kind of waves in Zambales,Thats guaranteed braaadduh!

ey sup guys? just want to correct you q2002 bout the travelling hours to zambales, you're quite right bout the 6 hours that is if you're going farther north to iba or sta. cruz (no harm done ayt?) for what i know zambales is the closest to manila aside from batangas, it is about 3 1/2 hours if you have your own transpo but if you're going to take the bus it will take you bout 4 hours, that is if you're going to visit san antonio, well it has two surf spots that im aware of, the one they call magsaysay break and pundaquit, another surf spot is in baranggay la paz in san narciso just next to san antonio, you can rent boards there and also a room, there are a lot of good surf spots in the phil, once you get here you should try them all...anyway q2002 is right you have to learn the something about the phil first before going here ayt...merry christmas! good luck to all those who will be competing this weekend in La Union...

we'll have it after christmas, december 27-28 or 28-29(para mkasama si omi pag 29;D) if we are going to have it at magsaysay break, you just have to bring tents or i could ask kuya dodo to lend us his tents, we have a property near there...regarding the food and drinks eh cheap in tayo po ha, pwde ko sumagot ng 1-2 cases ng red horse hehehe....private message me if your interested so i could coordinate things like where to meet etc...ill be in zamba the whole xmas break...
