Point taken I think though that you can click on the slide show thing and it should sort you out quite nicely. Quite new with this mac page... will figure out how do add several other pages.

Great I need to learn to surf as well (or at least gather the courage to learn to surf) . Count me in! I'll bring a jar of homemade cookies and will take photos of you guys surfing.

Would you guys by any chance know the dates for the La Union Competition? I can only take one weekend off this coming month and I'm debating about whether I should go to the one in La Union or to the one in Baler. Thanks!

I'd have loved to do that Doray but unfortunately, I've got classes on sunday. Plan to be absent once a month to cover some surf event or other. When things go full tilt will speak with the teacher to see if I can get the lessons in advance and try to study on my own (ha... like I can see this study portion really happening! ) Got in touch with Alex. I'll see you guys in Baler... yay!

Hey guys! Ouch... I still play in the white-water. We all start somewhere, and we're all out to have fun hey...   Relax!  

Marklucas, there have been breakthroughs... the first time I got out of white water, I was so shocked... I panicked.  

The last time I was in Daet though, I made it to the line up a few times (bone-weary... but ecstatic). Still play in the white water when I can't figure my way out of the impact zone (like when I'm feeling squeaky clean from the spin cycle).

I can tell you though that each successful attempt has me grinning like a fool all week.  

Ever heard of the saying that a pot can't call a kettle black? At least for the most part the tension in this thread is dissipating. Cheers all! Have a wonderful week...

Hey super typhoon Helen (Dianmu) is hovering off the pacific coast with gusts of upto 260kph (it was 295 earlier on). Dunno if it'll help with wave size, but it'll be interesting to see if there are any takers for that proposed comp

You're right... surfing does great wonders for stress relief. :c) The last trip was a weekend of many firsts. It had me grinning like a fool for about a week and a half. Completely stoked... Can't wait to hit the water again!

Longboard... It's easier to float on a longboard, and it seems a bit more laidback Not that I've ever tried my luck on a shortboard. Just a thought. Hope it helps!

Jan, I can lend you my copy or if you can bring a blank DVD-R I can burn you a copy. The blank ones I've found so far are a bit on the expensive side (190ish... sorry sponj!) Still looking for something that's cheap and reliable.
