It's been a week now since the tragedy of Laoag International Airlines' plane mishap caught media and government attention.  There had been great concern to Philippine tourism in general and local surfing in particular because included those who died were Australian surfers. I learned that they cancelled their trip to Bali, after the bombing, and instead consider flying to Laoag and heading off to the island of Badoc.

Nevertheless, it was clearly understood from the initial investigation that crash was not a terrorist attack. Let's just hope that no such incident would happen again and negligence should have its consequence for those accounted for it.

I watched the news yesterday and their bodies are now brought back to Sydney and Brisbane.

Let's extend prayers for those who died in this accident.

The 7th Aurora Surfing Cup will be held this February 13-15. It was won last year by Luke Landrigan (La Union), and 2nd was Rommel Postor (Baler).

Eliminations will still be in front of Bay's Inn and finals at Cemento reef.

really hard, to find. i was also trying to buy one last week, and even went to Glorietta, no avail. Once they had, it sells very fast. They always have these two brands, GLOO and Venom, and costs cheap. Don't know why I always bought one. Then wait again for long time.  

Anyway, I'm just near this place and regularly pass to Megamall (Surfshop) before going home. I'll post you an IM if there is available.
