Your right PAL and the rest of the airlines are super expensive now after 9/11. However I have started shipping 2nd hand boards over to try to toy around with a little side business and help the Pinoys at the same time. I currently have 6 shortboards for sale and one longboard that I regret to have to put on the auction block for sale. I am going back to Cali next month for 3 weeks and I have to finance the trip somehow. I am based in Dgte so it may be hard to get boards to anyone interested (other than my passing through Mla to catch a plane) ... but where the is a will there is a way

the blue board is selling for 9000 php and the rasta board is selling for 15,000 php. sorry cant  go any lower than that... affordable means to me buying a ticket to the states, buying these boards in dollars and then paying dollars to PAL to get them over here. Most filipinos don't understand the global market for surfboards yet. However it's ironic that they understand that if you wana look cool with a nokia cell phone than you have to pay up to 20,000 php. For me, I would rather have a cheap 3110 but pull into gaping tubes at one of the many perfect surf spots sa philippines

That's really true. I wanted to start a little business to help the sport here since I usually make one trip a year to the states. But it just doesn't pay. Anyways if anyone else is reading this I have one more board for sale. A 5'9" swallow tail fish with a triple concave hull. Super condition with rasta airbrush and fin system. You must be the same person that sandy was telling me about. Actually I think I was hanging out on the blvd one night when you were there. Anyways where did you surf in 2000? In the last two years I have practically pioneered the place. It's been fun chasing the rare waves of Negros. I must have named about 4 spots that have real potential.

Hey what's up to all? For all it's worth, (not much really  ...

I have surfed both cld 9 and backdoor pipe and i'ld have to say that they definately compare. As a matter of fact I saw cloud 9 eat more boards in one morning than my eyes could believe!

so what's up with the chopper tour? I was in siargao and  samar two weeks ago and am already thinking about taking a little tour back up to N. luzon after Christmas. Any takers?
