wat up!? am looking for som fresh info about surfing and am interested on having my own board. my crib is basically very near the beach somewhere in la union. ive been amazed and awed by the idea of surfing. i seldom see those surf dudes surf at our place. (i know am totally moron watchin those dudes rip wyl doin nothin.) the closest thing i do is body surf since i compete nationally in swimming.(i do it without fins-freestyle)
to cut the crap short, my swimming days are over and id like to join the your cool circle. how much does a 2nd hand board costs? w/c is better for starters longboard or short board? help me out guys! who knows maybe someday i could rip waves better than my grandme does. ill be grateful for the insights and help you guys can offer, including those insults and berations!!

mals are better for learning..either a normal longboard or a mini mal...or a shortboard which has some thickness and width to it cos there will be more stability.Don't worry about all the hype and bullshit of having the smallest toothpick board or the best brand or whatever..you're only starting out and the best beginner board you can get the better cos the easier and faster you will progress!!!

I have a seven foot channel bottom thruster that anyone can have if they can pay the freight from Australia. Good for barrelling reef breaks up to ten feet. Would not be any good for La Union. If you know someone in Sydney I will give it to them to send to you. Its old but in good condition. Let me know if interested. I could possibly get it to Manila but if I am going there I will have my own boards so 3 would be too much of a hassle. Let me know if you are interested. Walang Pera. Want it to go to a Pinoy who will use it that is the only stipulation.

eh mark, am interested in your board. i havnt surfed yet but am very much eager to learn. you could send me your board for SAFEKEEPING. am from LU and i live practically near the beach.(stupid of me not having one board).

I will suss it out and if my mate is going over in January I will get him to take it up there or leave it with my mate in Manila for you to pick it up. As I said before though it wont be any good at LU. Channel bottom boards are mainly for surfing barrels with and unfortunately LU doesnt have too many of them.
