they say indonesias got some of the worlds best breaks, and almost everyone knows where bali, g-land, nias and mentawais are. anyway i was wondering if theres anyone here whos familiar with surf spots close to its capital jakarta? care to share some info on these areas if they exist, soon hopefully, before this week ends perhaps? i know most people wouldnt share such info, im just counting on luck and some kind hearts. never stop surfing!

Al my mate has been living in Jakarta for the last ten years and he goes surfing regularly around that part of the world I wont tell locations that will be up to you to find

mark, im in jakarta but i dont think ill have enough time to search for these places. worse, im flying back this weekend, maybe ill set aside ample time next year. but i already got in touch with some people who know where the lineups near jakarta are, next time ill be ready. but from the pictures ive seen, looks like it can be hell too big for me, hope its not going to be too much for useless al then

I just got done living in Jakarta for 4 months.  When I had available weekends I'd go surfing down in West Java.  It's got some class waves, but I'm not gonna say where on a public forum like this- it's already too crowded down there.  Plus, the information you want is already out there on the internet if you take the time to look.  Good luck and selmat jalan!!
