This is just my first time here.
I just wanna know if the beach in Daet is Bagasbas.

yeah.. the main one in daet is bagasbas... and it's a long one too... there's another surf spot in mercedez... and another in san jose.. the other two are extensions of the bagasbas beach... they're like one long beach (and some reefs)... disjointed by two river mouths...

also.. there are other hidden spots.. in the islands nearby... just my additional cents..

you've promoting in this forum daet as the next destination for surf competition with media coverage are you running as an emissary of daet just like zsa the surf ambassador for zambales   ?

ok seriously... the event the bwc is hosting in daet is a non-profit event... bwc (bagasbas waveriders club) is a non-profit organization, after all... it has been helping a lot of the rural kids have a worthwhile life by introducing the sports to them, issuing them second hand boards they can still use for surf, hosting local competitions and events (such as surf clinic, surf rescue volunteer operations during holy weeks), and other non-profit projects which helps maintain the cleanliness of bagasbas beach (coz it gets a lot of people in there during weekends and holidays)...

the event is supposed to help show the people of daet how important the bagasbas beach stretch as well as make sure it's safe and no one gets drowned and yeah... host surf events too coz one of the things it supports is the unity of the philippine surf community... and that's one reason why i posted it here... coz as far as i know, the surf forum is the only surf community that most of the philippine surfers go to...

anyway... ive started surfing in daet and have been surfing there *only* ever since... that's why i love it that much to become a sort of *emissary of daet* even if im not being paid for it and even if no one's asking me to do so... i wanna help them coz i see how good the surfers there are.. and how unsupportive the local government is of all the things relating to surf that's been happening there... yeah, they provide very minimal assistance not enough to help make it a better place for the locals and it's not good.. they planned to host this competition to help better a lot of things there...

i love bagasbas and bwc so much i even proposed to make their website for free although it is still in the making (but if you want to take a look at a teaser of its homepage, message me privately).. so there... hehe.. i suppose i'm some kind of emissary who evangelizes how good it is to surf in daet... but yeah, if you also wanna hear the bad things i experienced there, i'd be happy to tell you, too... there are a lot of them too... and they're worst than the bluebottles... heheh..

will be surfing in daet this march 5 to march 13... anyone wanna go there can meet me in front of alvin's place, ill be setting up my tent there (as i always do)... there's gonna be a beach bonfire party on the night of march 7.. for bernie's birthday (and other surfers too)..

Daet Ugly Naked Kids daw, grabe, my heart was like torn when I saw that. Kakainis ibang tao, masyadong....Anyways, we know them better that's why we love them.
